Studies and Clinical Trials
Sacred Essence™
Sacred Essence™ is the world's only Spirulina extract to have been subjected to a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial on humans. This clinical trial demonstrated, for the first time in humans, the antioxidant activity of a concentrated spirulina extract rich in phycocyanins and polysaccharides. It also highlighted a significant effect on reducing triglycerides and the Fatty Liver Index, indicating broad- spectrum functionality without toxicity.
Sacred Essence™ is currently undergoing a second clinical trial on humans, conducted in a hospitals setting on patients with cancer undergoing chemotherapy.

Graph Explanation
This graph compares the effects of Sacred Essence™ and a placebo on three health parameters: Oxidative Stress, Triglyceride Levels, and the Fatty Liver Index.
- Oxidative Stress: Sacred Essence™ led to a 13% reduction, while the placebo group saw almost no change.
- Triglyceride Levels: Sacred Essence™ caused a 19% decrease in triglycerides, while the placebo group had no significant reduction.
- Fatty Liver Index: Sacred Essence™ reduced this by 21%, compared to a slight 3% increase in the placebo group.
Overall, the graph shows that Sacred Essence™ resulted in more significant improvements than the placebo across all three areas.

Participants experienced a 21% reduction in the Fatty Liver Index, indicating a potential improvement in liver health and a decrease in liver steatosis.
Study on Marine Magnesium
The study examines low magnesium levels in pregnant women at a hospital in Nigeria. It found that 16.25% of these women had low magnesium, which was linked to issues like pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure), leg cramps, and early labor. The researchers suggest that increasing magnesium intake through diet or supplements could help prevent these problems.
The study "Natural Magnesium-Enriched Deep-Sea Water Improves Insulin Resistance and the Lipid Profile of Prediabetic Adults: A Randomised, Double-Blinded Crossover Trial" investigated the effects of magnesium-rich deep-sea water on pre-diabetic adults. It found that consumption of this water significantly improved insulin resistance and lipid profiles, suggesting its potential as a natural intervention for managing pre-diabetes. The trial's double-blind, crossover design ensures robust results, highlighting the benefits of magnesium-enriched water in metabolic health.
Sacred Shine™
The synergistic combination of Marine-sourced Magnesium and Cartidyss® - hydrolysed type II collagen peptides makesSacred Shine™a highly bioavailable and effective dietary supplement. It is 100% natural, and particularly efficient in improving joint comfort and reducing associated pain.
A study involving individuals aged 42-78 demonstrated significant benefits within 3 months. The group experienced a 50% reduction in joint pain and improved mobility by reducing cartilage inflammation.
Additionally, it visibly reduces wrinkles by 26% and plumps the skin by boosting elastin and hyaluronic acid production, improving skin density by 38% and thickness by 10%.

Graph Explanation:
1. Reduction of Pain Over Time (Left Y-Axis, Red)
Placebo Group:
Represented by the red solid line with circles.
Shows a gradual decrease in pain over the weeks from W2 to W8.
Marine Collagen Group:
Represented by the red dashed line with circles.
Indicates a significant and more rapid reduction in pain compared to the placebo group, with pain levels dropping sharply by week W8.
2. Improved Mobility Over Time (Right Y-Axis, Blue)
Placebo Group:
Represented by the blue solid line with crosses.
Shows a slow and steady increase in weight-bearing capacity from W2 to W8.
Marine Collagen Group:
Represented by the blue dashed line with crosses.
Demonstrates a much steeper increase in weight-bearing capacity, reaching high levels by W6 and maintaining them through W8.
The graph clearly shows that Marine Collagen Hydrolysates are more effective than the placebo in both reducing pain and improving mobility over the eight-week period. The rapid improvement in the Marine Collagen group suggests significant benefits for joint health and muscle comfort.
A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Sacred Shine on Skin and Joint Health in Middle-Aged Adults
-
Study Design:
- Double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial
- Objective: Evaluate effectiveness of collagen peptides (PCP and BCP) for managing knee osteoarthritis (OA)
- Primary endpoints: WOMAC, VAS, and QOL score changes from baseline to Week 13
Participants:
- 30 subjects (aged 30-65 years) diagnosed with knee OA
- Visual analogue scale (VAS) score ≥40 and Kellgren-Lawrence grade 2-4
- 7-day placebo run-in period prior to randomization
Randomization and Blinding:
- Computer-generated randomization using SAS® software
- 2:1 randomization ratio: 20 subjects received PCP or BCP, 10 received placebo
- Double-blinded study (neither participants nor researchers knew the group assignments)
-
Statistical Analysis:
- Paired Student t-tests and Mann-Whitney U-tests applied
- Confidence level: 95%
- p < 0.01 considered statistically significant for comparing treatment groups and placebo

Graph Explanation:
Cartidyss™ supports healthy skin aging. Cartidyss™ is composed of collagen peptides and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) which are responsible for maintaining our skin structure, hydration, and its mechanical properties.A recent clinical study shows that after 90 days of supplementation at a low dosage (500mg/day) Cartidyss™:- Improves dermis density (collagen matrix) by 39% compared to placebo- Significantly reduces skin wrinkles- Improves skin flexibility and viscoelasticity- Tends to keep hydration in deeper skin layers- Tends to improve dermis hydration- Tends to reduce the size of the pores.
Study proves 50% reduction in joint pain and improved mobility by reducing cartilage inflammation. Additionally, it visibly reduces wrinkles by 26% and plumps the skin by boosting elastin and hyaluronic acid production, improving skin density by 38% and thickness by 10%.

The study reviews how collagen supplements can help joint health. It found that certain types of collagen, like hydrolysed collagen peptides, can reduce joint pain and improve movement, especially for people with osteoarthritis. The research also points out that knowing the details of how these supplements are made and absorbed by the body is important for getting the best results.
The study reviews how collagen hydrolysate (CH) can treat osteoarthritis (OA) and joint issues. CH, derived from collagen, has been shown to reduce pain and improve joint function by enhancing cartilage health and decreasing inflammation. Clinical trials in humans and animals support its potential as a safer alternative to traditional medications. However, more research is needed to fully understand its mechanisms and confirm long-term benefits.
